Ghost City ("On The Banks of the River Lex")

If you look at the people hard enough, you'll find that there's nothing there. In fact, there isn't much of anything anywhere. The city is a shell.

Based on a concept I designed inspired by the short sci-fi story, "On the Banks of the River Lex" by N.K. Jemisin. I was tasked with creating an environment using the contents of the story, as well as some character design. This design stemmed from a Photoshop-made reference I created, then underwent multiple iterations utilizing critique and tips. Made in Photoshop.
